Really nice painting, especially on his face and the headtail decorations, and he's the perfect combination of alienness and a very human protective determination. Is he Twi'lek or Nautolan? The space battle adds a real sense of urgency to whatever's going on here. My one crit would be the lightsaber--or at least I presume it's a lightsaber, the bar of red. It's hard to tell what it is without the white centre.
